On the Vista DVD there is a support directory which in turn contains a Migwiz directory. This is the new Files and settings transfer wizard for Vista. Run it on the old PC.

This works for some things but if your not doing an upgrade and are transfering settings from an "old" computer to a "new" computer you cant transfer mail settings, account settings or messages with the Migration Wizard does anyone know of a way?
or do I manually have to move all the .DBX files to the new machine and import from Microsoft mail.
This may not be seen as a large problem but it would seem this should be handled by the Migration Wizard?

Thanks,
I'll give it a go. The files are already in DAT files so it will be interesting to see what happens.
